Dominion: Storm Over Gift 3 is SO easy to install and play on Windows 10, you won't have any trouble! The CD can be mounted just by right clicking the ISO file in Windows 10 and clicking MOUNT!

The reason you NEED the PRE-INSTALLED folder is because the V1.2 PATCH does NOT install on modern computers, I had to boot up WINDOWS 2000 just to install it! Install the game using the DISK from the ISO, so you have reg files. THEN DELETE the Ion Storm folder and put the PRE-INSTALLED folder there!

Right click on the dominion.exe in program files or the desktop shortcut and check the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 98 / Windows ME' ONLY. Check the box 'Run this program as an administrator,' or you will not be able to take screen shots or stream on twitch. Windows will install 'DirectPlay,' for multiplayer modes. Allow network access to DirectPlay helper and Studio 7 Runtime.

V1.2 Required to play multiplayer, along with LogMeIn "Hamachi," and AGGsoftware "TCP Com Bridge."

Always mount disk before you play!

Black Nyasher Dominion Modification!

Wow, it is fantastic to see the dedicated group of Dominion gamers emerge from 2010 to now. To think, an actual modification of this massively imba game! Black Nyasher, thank you for your hard work. It is going to be fun exploring your unit variations.



To install his modification just replace the old files in the game directory with the modified files. You will need WinRAR to unpack the files.

    Download pre-installed Dominion version 1.2, it must be launched then without any problems... www.contemporaryvision.com/Dominion/Dominionpreinstalled12.zip
    If not - maybe will help instalation on the same HDD where windows is in the default folder, for example:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ion Storm\Dominion"
    If still not working - try to use any of "compatibility mode" in "properties" of .exe file
